Bloodlust is a literary magazine that loves highlighting the voices of authors who curate pieces that can be seen as unconventional. We encourage anything and everything with dark themes that are meant to invoke feelings of lust, love, horror, and everything in between.
What types of things are censored for this type of content?
We adore the dark and twisted! That being said, we don't condone hateful content or tasteless violence. We aim to explore a wide range of emotions in the work that we publish- so be sure your piece carries a purposeful motivation, rather than something that only aims to spread hate and needless violence.
What if I have a different type of media I want to submit that does not fall under the submission guidelines?

What if I want to submit a piece longer than 1000-2000 words?
If you are very excited and proud of a longer piece- send it to us anyway! We can negotiate edits, but also it can be considered for upcoming longer projects that are still being hashed out.
